Marion was the founder of Living Room Opera/Opera Lirica del Soggiorno. Until last year she was also its producer, and has taken an active role in music direction as well. Marion, who has been an Arlington resident for seven years, holds degrees from Barnard College (Columbia University) and the Mannes College of Music in New York, and has been active as a singer and stage director for opera and Gilbert and Sullivan in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Minnesota.
Eric holds an MFA in composition from the New England Conservatory, where he held fellowships in choral and vocal accompaniment. Eric has extensive experience as accompanist and assistant/associate music director for local Gilbert and Sullivan productions and opera workshops such as the New England Conservatory Extension Division opera workshop.
Nancy has been a member of LRO since its inception, and producer and repetiteur since 1998. Her love and knowledge of opera, her musical and linguistic skills, and her 20 years of professional experience as a project manager and analyst at Abt Associates, Inc. provide welcome leverage for the artistic talents of Eric and Marion.
Janice, who has been performing with LRO for several years, is much sought after as costumer for local groups. She serves as Costume Rental Agent for the Sudbury Savoyards and the Savoyard Light Opera Co, and runs her own costume agency with her husband, Ron.
